Leather armor is one of three armor choices the walkthrough lists, ahead of iron and diamond. The presenter says better armor costs more points. No number was attached to leather, so this page does not invent one. It is wearable armor in the same loadout budget as weapons.

How do you get Leather armor?
Select it in the loadout armor section if it is unlocked. The clip does not separate armor unlocks from other chest rewards.
How do you use Leather armor?
Read its live cost before you equip it. If it is the cheapest armor, it is the one that leaves the most points for a weapon and arrows. That ranking is the presenter's 'better costs more' line, not a printed price.
