A tier
loadoutRanged setup with a small arrow stackEditorial pick based on the 15 October 2026 walkthrough. The presenter rejects diamond armor and says range is the better way to play, then opens the crossbow and keeps 12 arrows instead of 36. The crossbow's own point cost was not isolated, so this row is a spending habit, not a damage rank.
Player decision Use this when you already own a ranged weapon. Buy one point of arrows first. Add more ammo only after you are hitting. Leave the exact weapon cost to the in-game counter.
B tier
loadoutSword, dagger, and slingThe clip builds this on screen: iron sword at 3, diamond dagger at 2, and the sling filling the remaining point of that 3-point gap. The presenter calls the sword optional and useful only when you want close range.
Player decision Add these when fights reach melee and you still have 6 points after your main plan. Do not fill the whole 12 with melee just because the pieces fit.
C tier
loadoutDiamond armor firstDiamond armor is a real 6-point piece, half of the documented cap. The walkthrough puts it on, notes how few points remain, and takes it back off in favor of range. This letter is about opening with that armor, not about the armor being useless in every fight.
Player decision Equip it only after a weapon and its ammo still fit in the points that remain. An empty loadout would have 6 points left. If other gear is already selected, you may have less, which is what the clip's 'three points left' line likely was.
